I should've worded this properly.

So this is a separate manga about a male MC who is watching magical girl stories. Someone from his school became a magical girl. He saw her transformation and decided to help her.

I'm sorry if there was confusion on my part.

It's been done. Her name is Tomoyo Daidouji and she is from Card Captor Sakura. Basically, what you are describing is a more genre-savvy version of Tomoyo.

If you're asking for tips, my tip would definitely be watching episodes of Card Captor Sakura and paying special attention to Tomoyo.

EDIT: (The ladies on the CLAMP team were definitely way ahead of their time. They came up with a lot of concepts that have later become the standard approach in the Webnovel community. I think Card Captor Sakura may have been one of the earliest genre breakdowns on the magical girl genre, although the approach here is less on the "make it horrifying" side and more of the "why do we have these ridiculous tropes in the genre" side, and it mainly questions them by getting rid of them.)

EDIT 2: Oops, I just realized this was in the "looking for" thread. So, not a concept pitch then. Ok, ignore the single-sentence 2nd paragraph. You don't need that one. The 1st paragraph answers your request plenty.

It's alright. At least I learned something.

Also I'm looking for a manga.
