Lore is basically things that impacted the majority of the SHF community in some way. These have been less frequent over the past year but it can be a story connected to a well-known forum member or a thread that went out of control in some way. Some examples are K5s story being held as the lowest-ranked story on the site as a form of challenge and when @Agentt ran a cult for a few weeks on the site. Usually, these turn into memes. I'll try to find as many of the memes I have saved from these events.
