In reincarnated as a villainess genre, there is a trope of the villainess avoiding the plot to evade destruction or following it instead to get the result of her destruction alongside with some [greater good] thing.

Are there novels where a villainess knows the rest of the plot or just knows her future but can't change herself and, without trying to, continues to fulfil the future? Like a drug addict who knows where things will lead but can't help it.

#1 What If I Tell you : The Villainess is actually the one plotting the engagement annulment, as she's really bent for escaping. The best part is, There's no transmigration/plot knowledge/modern knowledge involved. Just classic FL-lead's fighting scheme for her freedom.

As the story made in English for International English reader by independent writer, therefore no JP or KR shitty romance stuff included, making the whole story more clean. It's a 11,000 word oneshot with complete plot, definitely full of content.

Plus RoyalRoad reader and writer alike always hate shit MC from JP/KR, therefore MC is definitely likeable.

****

#2 Another plot twist : Even when the Duke Daughter Villainess does nothing to Heroine and tries to resist, her engagement is still annulled and she still get evicted to monastery for thing she didn't do.

Not mentioned in the story, but I think It's clearly the Dukedom and Royal Family's plot to banish her, and if what I think is true, then normal transmigrator like her can't do much counter scheming against them.

But the other plot twist, she prefers to be in monastery in the first place, so she decided to accept the judgement and live happily in the monastery instead. She even improve the monastery business to help the sisters with her otherworldly cooking skills.

It's a mediocre Japanese Shoujo manga written for shoujo fans that get translated by less-than-mediocre English translator.

Many people will berate MC for her laziness to not do anything to the judgement, but I stand on her side as fighting against both Royal Family and Dukedom combined is something too tiring and hopeless to fight against.

But the inclusion of Male knight romance and the rescue from rape-plot with yandere ML is rather useless, although it's understandable as she's partially reaping what she sow back in the days.

[Hold on a minute, I'm still finding the story]

It's not what I'd call self-destruction

I am writting one in which villainess (transmigrator) knows her fate via 'the novel' but know doesn't which one out of multiples she will experience. As heroine(character) is time regressing homing missile with only revenge in her head.

And I case you looking for a fed up villainess, looking for death.
This one might match the criteria , at least in start.
