Requesting feedback on my novel

This is part 1 of my 2 (technically 3) part story. It's been something I've been writing off and on for about 2 years now. While I've posted it in feedback threads before (and applied what was told to me) I'd still like to make this thread. The thing I'm mainly struggling with is writing a good synopsis alongside hooking readers with the first few chapters. I've rewritten them a few times, especially chapter 1, and while i'm satisfied, I don't wanna get complacent.
