We've all read some form of reincarnation manga, whether it's in a fantasy world, cultivation world, or the modern world. We've also seen the MC's reincarnated as a wide variety of various objects, animals, and even systems. I've seen a lot but I don't think I've seen everything yet. So I want to know two things.

1. What is the most interesting thing you've seen someone reincarnated as.
2. What form do you believe hasn't been done yet.

I have not seen a simple human reincarnated as a simple human in a setting that isn't generic. :meowsip:
That's true. I don't think I've ever come across a regular human reincarnated as another regular human. Even in those cases they're either Kings and queens or they were some miracle doctor or cultivator in their previous life.

The main point is generic setting. We usually see generic cultivation world, generic Japanese fantasy, or generic sci-fi. Have you seen dieselpunk? Biopunk? Underwater? Underground?

Yeah I've seen underwater because fishes are the new thing but I think I've come across one steampunk and I've never seen any dieselpunk or biopunk.

Reincarnation as a magical entity in a sci fi world would be interesting, I think. As for most interesting, I am always a huge fan of Dungeon Cores. Though those can certainly work without reincarnation, as well.

Well, I don't think I have come across a dungeon appearing in a sci-fi world. That would certainly be an interesting read. Although that would be hard to make work since if I was in a sci-fi world and monsters kept coming out of a cave I would just nuke the cave.

I haven’t seen one where the person reincarnated as their own parent.
That's also true. I haven't come across something like that. I've seen a parent becoming an animal and taking care of their kids to make up regrets. I've even seen a person reincarnating and going back in time as a different person and meeting their old self. I've even seen a parent becoming their child's new child.

I have read some sci fi related dungeon core material. Sometimes its just like, VR games with dungeon cores in the setting, which still would be a fantasy setting, so less interesting/what I mean. Otherwise I think usually the "Cores" in question are more science based, rather than magical. Though like "Station Core" and the related series "Dimensional Dungeon Cores" end up with some overlap, for sure. But I can't think of any expressly magical cores alone in sci fi settings. One particularly interesting science based thing with Cores is like the "Derelict" series where the dungeon is an abandoned space craft. And nuking the cave does seem likely, unless it's got a loot drop thing that is VERY obvious. Like, monsters coming out of a cave, weird. Monsters turning into an iron ingot when they die, RESOURCES!

That might imply that your Dad in your "first life" was yourself, and didn't do anything to stop you from dying so now you reincarnated into another world into his place and you're technically banging your mom.

TL;DR: You are your own grandpa.

That's true. And if it's a fantasy dungeon they'll be monsters and creature parts they could gain that doesn't exist anywhere else.

I believe Futurama did that and one of the characters ended up being his own grandfather when he slept with his grandmother.

Something good.

Really though while I have seen a wizard reincarnated into regular person in a modern world, they are always still magical somehow. I've also never seen that troupe but instead of human to human it's monster to human. Imagine a ballisk turning into a cute girl with a nasty glare. Maybe in an effort to regain magic she turns to science.

I've seen something similar but that one was a romance one and woman she became already had a husband and a child so they focused on that aspect.

I'm not gonna bother writing "reincarnated" every time, so Imma shorten it to "rekt".

Rekt from OP to useless/powerless, rekt from magic setting to normal world. And the most likely to never happen: Rekt with a functioning brain.

Vending machine. A great "food" novel.

True most MC's are always arrogant and make enemies left and right. It's rare to find someone with a functioning brain that behaves like a normal person.
