That happens in my story, but I am bad at writing. Also the protagonist is evil if that is a turnoff

It is indeed interesting and I seem to have read a few finds from novel updates… For example, “Duke, Please Repent!” as the MC didn’t interact nor has the memories of the body… Spoiler Alert!
He finds out that the original person has reincarnated into a baby who wasn’t supposed to exist in his family after the MC went to meet his family cause it was already making the original person’s parents worried.
I’m not exactly sure when this happened but it happened over 100 chapters just to make sure ?
There’s another one that might perk your interest which perked mine! It’s called “Regressor, Possessor, Reincarnator” where the MC isn’t the possessor but the brother of the original body of the Korean who possesses his body and wants to kill him to bring his brother back or something. No idea if that's what you want cause it doesn't have the other char be like a constant character but more someone that shows up sometimes interacts a bit then leaves, but I can recommend "The Saintess and The Villainess". It's also GL, idk if that's a deal breaker for you.

Reincarnated as a scumbag bestfriend. It is at novel updates and it updates 2-3 chapters per 3-4 days. The characters are super fleshout but the pacing is really really slow
