Recommendations Reincarnated Into Main Character/Protagonist

I've been reading these type of transmigration novels around the Late-era of "Reincarnated into Vilainess" genres, and then the Advent of reincarnating into different variations of characters and even objects, including era of Systems.

As a result, It seems that I missed the "Reincarnated into Main Character/Protagonist" genre of Stories/Comic, if I were to exclude those SI fanfics made by shitty wishfulfiment auhor that ignore and ruin the original story and characters by replacing original protagonist with Gary Stu OP MC character that supposedly "mOrE sMaRtEr aNd mAtUrE".

Searching Google is no good; got too much reincarnated into vilainess stories instead.

Therefore, any good recommendation of popular Reincarnated into Main Character/Protagonist type of Story/comic/manhwa/manhua/etc. ?

what you are looking for is a contradiction. reincarnation into main character is best done as wish fullfilment because the main character they reincarnate into is already destined to suceed...thus unless you try to make the main character worse...it will be wish fullfilment.

also fanfictions dont have to worry about focus groups/editors/target audiences/publishers etc. stupid loud mcs are extremly common and extremly easy to rewrite as smarter and lewder.

I would love to see this if it were done right. MC reincarnates as the protagonist, but is a useless spineless coward so has to ask all the side characters for help. It would make for a great comedy.

Edit: sadly, I don't have any answers for the OP. I think "The Academy's Time Stop Player" technically has the mc reincarnate as one of the protagonists of the game, but it really feels more like he was reincarnated as an overpowered mob character.

He doesn't reincarne as the main protagonist, but in "The Author Pov" the mc transmigrate into his novel, the story is good except maybe the first few chapters.
