What!? This thread is a thing?!
Well now that I've published the 12th I may as well introduce this story.
Adele is 31 years old, and what should be the prime years of her life instead find her in a rather miserable situation. She still lives with her parents, works as an underpaid cashier in a grocery store, and has no prospects for her future.
One day, however, her life is completely turned upside down by a crucial event: her death.
Expecting to end up in the afterlife, Adele is instead transported into the world of her favorite fantasy light novel series, Hero’s Journey.
But instead of being the main hero, a supporting character, or even the villain, she finds herself as Lady Nikki, an orphaned girl taken in by the hero and destined to be just another irrelevant character in the hero’s harem.
Right from the start, Adele—now Lady Nikki—decides to fight against that fate. Facing generals, powerful warriors, and cunning intellectuals, she will do everything possible to climb the social hierarchy and reach the pinnacle of the harem. Only then can she make her second life even remotely dignified.
