Real life enemies to friends

I was feeling nostalgic and looked up an old coworker with whom I'd had a disagreement. It turns out we actually have a lot in common, and I was wondering if any of you have any stories about people you used to be enemies with who became your friends later.

I had one person who picked a couple fights with me, to the point where a counselor was called to mediate. They chilled out a lot, but I could never work up the leniency to actually try to befriend them like we were told. If nothing else, I can hold a grudge I guess.

I sent a friend request, so we'll just see if anything comes of it. No response yet, but she also might not be the kind of person who uses social media a lot.
