Although not as good as a professional reading, Chrome's Reading Mode makes any story a passable audiobook. There are however a few drawbacks. One that I'd like authors to be aware of is that when using --------------- or ========== as page breaks (like when denoting a system screen) the reader speaks each character. Listening to "underscore, dash or equals" 20 times in a row isn't fun. Could be I'm the only one but I just wanted to make it known.

Well, you can use transition marks ... to separate 2 scenes in the same chapter, instead of --- or *** or === marks. That way, the reading will feel smoother. By the way, I'm still traumatized by using chrome because this browser almost killed my laptop in the literal sense.

People have legitimately forgotten how to page break that they have to do this?
Sometimes chapters are copied and pasted over from a word document. That's an excuse I'm giving, not a valid reason. :blob_okay:

Try these divine page breaks on for size: ꙮ ꙮ ꙮ ꙮ ꙮ ꙮ ꙮ ꙮ ꙮ ꙮ ꙮ ꙮ

Funny historical context: those "symbols" are eyes; now the pages can watch you read. :blob_blank:
