I am not against reviews. After all people should know the quality of a product beforehand before investing money or in this case time.
But if I have a lot against people who give negative reviews, "because nothing can be perfect" then it is their duty to lower the rating. People who only give 1 star but don't say why, for example, for the author to know why and improve it Or who do it saying that the story is too long, because for these people sure love movies like Transformer 4 where everything happens in 5 minutes.
Or my favorite, when they lower the rating because one thing happened that they didn't like. My novel has 138 chapters so far, and for just one thing, that one character did in chapter 95, people started to lower my grade. Man, if you made it to fucking chapter 95 it was because you liked it, don't lie. It's ok that you disagree with what happened, great for you, but you also have to accept that there were good points if you came so far ,that you should also point out.
Or in the same example, people who get to chapter 10 and say it's a piece of shit that doesn't explain anything. When it's still part of the fucking prologue and the novel is long. I can't drop all the spoliers in the first few chapters because those are my material to move the series forward. It's like in a criminal investigation they tell you right away who the culprit is and how he did it. The only one left to find out is the detective. that's stupid!
