Has anyone here ever taken a commission or whatever its called to write an entire webnovel for someone?

What I mean is, they send you the chapter summary, meaning chapter by chapter detailed information, and you create the chapters? Basically, Ghost-Writing but with a webnovel instead. Like, they create the entire plot, you just craft it into webnovel form for them.

If so, what was the negotiated price (or whatever they compensated you with) and did you complete it or no? I'm just curious. I ran into a forum elsewhere that was aking these offers. I don't remember the site as this was on my phone and my phone is currently....underground repairs. I kinda dropped it from a two story window like smart people do x(

Just sounds like a Ghost-Writer but for webnovels. Not sure if this is a thing though. I mean, wouldn't it be weird to ghost-write a webnovel for someone? At least with a regular novel, you HAVE to get paid before completion and you at least know it will get done. But with webnovels, how would the payment plan even work? And if its a long webnovel, woldn't it cost more by default just because of the longer writing period? I'd be surprised if there are webnovelist ghost-writers. Seems like their is more uncertainties involved on both sides of the business transaction. But maybe not. I've never heard of it or know of any examples but I guess if you could think of it, than someone else has to already have as well right?

i've done that but only for free and only for like a short story or a chapter or two. I'm legally unable to say what stories I've done that for despite not having been paid for it, but lets just say that whole "cut off your son's foreskin bro" thing was not my best work. The guy was burning bushes and it got me all weird so when I was doing the chapter shit got a bit crazy.

heh. Well i have seriously written stuff for people but yeah never entire stories. Too much work and im a lazy cunt. I've been approached with offers to do so tho. Kinda weird if im honest.
I wish I had the money to pay someone for this, but I would be worried about them achieving burnout since any ideas I have would be long-term. As in minimum 200-300 chapters, each around 4k words. Minimum. Needless to say, I'm not expecting any takers. It would be expensive anyways since most ghost writers are paid by the word rather and not the hour.

back in the day people would post their ideas of Novelupdate forums and ask people to pick up the story. Just because. I don't think you'd be able to get them to fo like 4k per chapter tho. But if its just the idea and general plotline, maybe

Damn. You must have blazed something serious to have God walking by inn’s like he just joined the adventurers guild. But a sharp stone? That’s some bloody shit.

Nah. I would be a poor boss. I would have a detailed outline for every chapter and any deviations would end with me rescinding the offer. Control freak me I know. :( So yeah, it would have to be monetary compensation to justify that level of control and oversight.
