rape, as we humans have come to define it? Is a curious thing. Its actually the "normal" throughout the mammalian animal kingdom. the male sort of chases down the female, and holds her while forcing impregnation on her. Witness cats mating. The other curious thing about this mammalian "rape". The female comes around making "displays" that initiates it. To find an analogy in human sexuality? male domination of female submissives, is *quite* common. The women love to be put in collars, and dominated physically. Women's magazines? Are *overflowing* with "curious" letters. "My husband? From the moment I met him... there's was just no telling my Bobby 'no'..."
Question: She met "bobby". There was no "telling him no". What exactly does that mean, and imply? Hm? Women themselves report that when its "the right guy" they don't have to say or do anything. The "right guy" just "knows" everything's okay. While we don't call that rape... what is not being able to say "no", exactly mean. Now juxtapose that, against all the (extremely popular) dark romance stories. The woman is basically taken against her will, dominated and all but raped... and loves the guy for it.
"Pretend rape" is pretty much the gold standard for "hot sex". Read the books that women themselves write. The have a rich, boring, caring husband at home, They (in the book) go out and get "taken" by some "bad boy". He's rough with her, he uses force, she loves it.
the whole thing just makes me roll my eyes, and shake my head.
then you have "female domination".
the guy loves it, when both are pretending that the female is, more or less, raping him and "making" him do those... dirty things.
Please. Everyone knows all this, its no secret in today's world.
the only difference is? People that read and write *smut* admit openly what everyone knows and giggles about.
