I'm thinking about remastering everything in my story, from chapters to cover and title, so I can delete my current story and post the remastered one? Taking advantage of the new stories page?

Do it. I know of a book here that has two versions of itself, lol.

I actually advise caution in doing this. It's entirely up to you, but if you're still writing your story, I advise finishing it first before doing a rewrite, unless you've legitimately written yourself into a corner. Revisions should be done only when you actually have the full body to revise on. Otherwise, you'll do a rewrite, and start writing new content, only to become disappointed in the new content again, and want to rewrite, ending up in a loop. In my opinion, finish the story, then revise.

Post the remastered one, but leave the current one up too (just edit the title to make it clear there's a new version out). Some people will still want to be able to re-read the current version and it is always so disappointing to be looking forward to reread something and find the story, or a part in the story, completely deleted with no way to see it again.

Happened to me when I was rereading Sovereign of Wrath, the author cut out basically the entire starting arc when the MC was alone on an island cause they didn't like the pacing, but I liked it and had wanted to reread it! And I've seen other readers complaining about full stories being deleted.

That's why it's better to leave reviews, critiques more often and remember to point out in it not only what you didn't like.
In fact, there are several criteria that are considered mandatory for remediation. For example: pace of narration (smooth, jumpy, fast), clichéd or stereotypical (too corresponding to the genre, no originality), many others. They don't really say anything, but in the absence of feedback, they become the only way to find the “right” way. It is also often the opinion of the majority.

I rewrite my previous chapter from time to time. I think you can just edit them without posting them as a new story.

If it's not too personal to ask, why are you planning to remaster your story? Knowing a bit more would help with advice.

I once rewrote a complete novel three times. It was unsatisfying each time. I finally realized what the story is about, and everything clicked. The fourth rewrite is going really well. So if I could go back in time, I would tell myself: Do not rewrite that novel. Instead, figure out and confront head on what is bothering you about it.
