So I wondered if any of you have read this particular series;

The reason I asked about this, is NOT to promote it but because I want to know if its a waste of time? Here's why I ask...

The cover shows him turning into a nice cute, lovable tamed dragon species type that partners with humans. But I'm on Chapter 17 already and he doesn't turn into anything good, he becomes a poison disease dragon; that's not compatible with humans. So its opposite of the cover so far. Also it talks about giving him human transformation magic, and then doesn't use it and dumps that idea saying its flawed.

So ... does that ever get rectified? Does he end up not fixing the story later where he might evolve into something good and that can partner with humans instead of just poison them? Or does he stay on the evil dragon route forever?

So far it seems like the readers aren't going to get what he teased them with to entice them to read. But if he would have done that initially it would have been a fun story.

He stays on the evil dragon route forever (up til current release, at least), but he does become a [Hero] pretty early on. *snickers*

As for the cover, that's his Baby Dragon form, which is cute and lovable.

I enjoyed the story, I think, but I too would like to read a slice of life story with a friendly dragon in the same situation. For better and for worse, reincarnated as a dragon egg isn't that story. It's a pretty arch-typical hero story, with ups and downs and shounen tropes.

Thanks for the reply. That's exactly what I wanted to know. I do agree its a good story. Just that I'd hoped for a friendly with humans route like you say.

I really like your Global Dungeon Network cover pic! That's a great pic!
