I know people do it, but this mostly an original work site, correct? Like posting original work on AO3 when they want you to post fanficton
The problem with AO3 is that the site is designed for one-shots. Posting long works with many chapters is a pain for both the writer, who knows most people won't reach the end, and the reader, who might not ever realize new chapters are up. Sites like RR, Webnovel, and ScribbleHub are much more user-friendly for long works where the author is going to continually write more as time goes on. Other sites have other downsides: RR has temperamental mods that will ban people who have broken no rules; Webnovel encourages people to translate your story and pass it off as their own in other languages; and ScribbleHub does not allow translations (mainly to prevent all the nefarious stuff that happens on Webnovel) and is an English-only site (to effectively moderate with their small team).I know people do it, but this mostly an original work site, correct?
