So, I had two weird Rom-Com ideas for future stories. Wanted to hear your opinions about which I should write first?

1) MC x Kuchisake-Onna:

Kuchisake-Onna is a Japanese urban legend where a slit mouthed woman comes and ask "Am I pretty?" No matter what you answer - yes or no, she will cut your mouth with scissors.

2) Ancient Roman MC x Carthaginian Girl:

Guy got reincarnated in Ancient Rome. He fell into love with a Carthaginian girl. And given the circumstances between Rome and Carthage...

The first one seems more like a tragedy or very forced comedy. The second, the Roman one, has a lot of potential to be just about anything.

Not enough stories set in non-medieval worlds. Even roman-inspired fantasy worlds are pretty rare.

I think there's already a few mangas about the first premise.
