So currently, I am writing a story with a few characters from different countries or cultures. Like one is Japanese, another Korean, and another is part Romani with a Romani immigrant grandmother. While I am trying to find stuff out there with my own research, I don't know what places have effective or true info about those cultures. If you guys have tips for research regarding this matter, I'd really appreciate it. While I don't plan to do super deep dives into the culture of my characters, I do want to make sure that what I write is actually correct.

Ask here, maybe? Many of us are from different countries. Although I'm not sure if any are from Japan or Korea.

Depends on your country tbh.
If you mean the Internet the best guess would be Image Boards, forums and or YouTube channels that talk about history/culture.
Can confirm. Racism is the best way to learn about cultures. An argument between balkan countries especially if they're throwing slurs against each other is more culturally enriching than a thousand youtube videos essays.

Youtube vids are definitely the best choice. Picking either travel vlogs or documentary of their history and cultures would help you a lot.

You might also want to try going for their memes, I recalled the time I got too deep looking into Latin foods because someone in a facebook group was throwing memes, dissing about other countries' food lol

Go to your local library. My kid plucked two books about Austria and one book about Poland off the shelf to check out last time we went there.

They will gladly tell you everything you want about their country while being as racist as possible toward their immediate neighbors.
