You'd think that I found how Aoyama should look already, but noooooo
Here is a totally-not canon, guilty mode, long haired Aoyama.
I really should just decide how she will look like already.

I find it impressive how simple shadings attracts me more as a viewer, and an artist. As an artist, its simple and easy to draw, while being a viewer find the color pops out more. Eh, maybe I just don't have an idea how to make more complicated shadings work.
The proportion is still off, but I'm slowly getting the hang of it.
It's about time I drew other characters from my novel. Maybe in a few drawings more :P

Heyaaa. Some news regarding what I'm currently working on.
DO YOU SEE THE VISION?!
Well, it's a simple illustration for one of my novel chapter that takes place in a café.
Aoyama is taking picture of her three friends which is Ryuu at the back and Aosa beside her.
I feel like Aoyama's hand isn't made long enough to convey that she's holding a phone to take a selfie. I'd try to give more foreshortening on her hand.
Aoyama's drawing is surprisingly good. Had no idea how I achieved that. The face proportions looks good, the hair doesn't look like my typical messy bed hair. Though the uniforms need more details as she is working at the café as a Frontliner, it is her family café after all.
