It’s about time we get one of these!
Instead of someone getting reincarnated into an Otome Game Villainess, the Villainess gets reincarnated into our world after meeting her demise! XD

When she wakes up in the room of a random plain Otaku girl, I bet she will look at the computer screen and say “Is that... me?”

I think she would also be like: “what are all these steel and glass castles? Why aren’t there any nobles?”
PS: Yes, I’m back!

Don't know if someone is translating this but this novel has a similar premise 転生してきた幼馴染の悪役令嬢は、学園ではパワハラまがいの厳しいフリをするけれど、本当はすごく優しくて癒してくれます。

i think the closest we really get to that currently are the japanese stories where characters from other worlds visiting or even live on earth. Its just missing the otome genre

That’s gonna be tough, though. Usually, when the otaku girl transmigrates into the villainess character, she has a leverage of being kind—unlike the the villainess character’s former self. So the problems coming her way can be solved with her kindness.

But on the other hand, if goes by your prompt, instead of solving problems, it’s gonna be a former villainess with obvious evil personality transmigrates into our modern world. There sure are going to be a lot of troubles coming her way.

First, she has no knowledge of this modern world whatsoever, so she has to adjust, and that can take a lot of time and effort, unlike the usual isekai because the character already has the basic knowledges of the fantasy world.

Second, her personality will surely bring a lot of troubles. It’s technically a tragic story of a decent girl suddenly turns evil and descends into the tragic path.

Well, all this can be change with a twist, but if we talk about the exact reverse of the troupe, then I think it‘s sure as hell not gonna end well.

Might be interesting for those who like angst-filled story, though.

Either she changes her personality, or she finds a way to adapt and thrive in our world.

I'd love to see that. She'd probably still go to school, it'll be interesting. To avoid unnecessary issues, let's say instead of the otaku girl's memories she gets her academic skills, so she doesn't have to learn from scratch.

Such hype, I wanna read it! ?

That sounds nice, actually. It’s definitely gonna be fun, as long as it doesn’t end tragically. Nothing against it; just have to prepare myself for that first, you know? ?

Most of those Otome "Villainess" types are just villainesses in the sense that they stand between the "true love" of MC and their chosen one. They're most of the time everything the MC isn't, meaning popular, competent, have some leadership abilities and are able to act in accordance to society.
And that's totally not my Ojou-sama bias speaking.

Most of those medieval Otome are about MCs of lesser social standing getting themselves a prince or two or five. So those villainesses reacting strongly to those invaders is actual pretty tame. In reality they would've killed the MC outright and everybody would just went their normal ways, even MCs parents.

I think those villainesses would adapt pretty quickly and fall into either student council president or queen bee territory. First few chapters would be about them comming to terms with what happened, maybe even realizing why she ended up here (let's be honest, life expectancies for Otome Villains are as high as those of evil mentor characters, which is pretty much less than 1/30. So she's either dead or in some other near-dead state before going IRL). Next would be about her either strenghtening/going against the current "societial system" and gaining a following. From there you could take it whereever you want.

Villainess turned gang leader sounds pretty fun to read/write. Just imagine it, a medieval lady with a bunch of reformed thugs acting like knights protecting the city or something

So if she’s not becoming a delinquent, she would become the school’s Ice Queen?

That or your typical "student council president" type, the one the other girls call Onee-sama despite being same age.

But it really depends on where you put your focus on the "villainous noble girl". Being a noble could either mean she's a pampered vain airhead or a dutiful girl that acted because society dictated her to do so, a sense of noblese oblige or just because she never new another way to interact with those "lower" than her.
