I wonder why so many people always insult, make fun of, or even belittle others just because of the way they dress.

I mean, as long as they're not "Naked" it's fine right? Even though we dress neatly, cleanly and politely, there are still people who sneer at us about this and that, as if we are always wrong in their eyes.

I still don't understand why so many people force their will on what other people should wear, I mean, seriously? Just because of different tastes and clothing styles will cause unnecessary commotion.

They dress normally, and they dress in what makes them comfortable, Like myself, I like to wear 10 pairs of white thighhigh socks whenever and wherever, because it is my habit and makes me comfortable, And also I always wear normal clothes everyday, but my older sister said that my taste in clothes is really unacceptable.

Some people may be too busy to bother about other people's business, even with something as simple as clothes, in the eyes of others, we will never be perfect.

In some cases, it is necessary to reprimand someone if they are dressed inappropriately in a public place or in a place where formal and neat dress is required. But in this case too, even though we have done this, there will still be people who have negative views everywhere.

Have you ever experienced something similar? Or are you the perpetrator? Just why, Why can't we just respect each other?

Can't change the narrow views of some people. What we can change, however, is how we look and react to their actions.

Best course of action is to ignore. Sometimes, dress because you are comfortable with it, not to impress someone. Other times, dress according to ocassion.

No. Fashion crime is real.

I still don't understand why so many people force their will on what other people should wear, I mean, seriously?
Yes. Dress like a clown, get treated like one.

I like to wear 10 pairs of white thighhigh socks whenever and wherever, because it is my habit and makes me comfortable
I'll steal them all.

When others' businesses bother others' businesses, it becomes a business.

Why can't we just respect each other?
Because it starts with respecting others by not forcing them to see something they don't want to see in a public space.

Is there something wrong? I like to wear 10 pairs of white thighhigh socks because they make me comfortable.
I know the way I phrased it is super weird and idiotic. It's a meme for those who know. Serious reply, I just hope you don't get varicose veins.

I dont know man, my sense of fashion is so dead mummies were like... Damn that is dry as F.
The last time I was on fashion was in the precambric era.
I always use the same clothes.
I got 8 gray cargo pants, black snickers or work boots, gray Tshirt.
Always the same, all day, every day.

High end snoods are one thing.

But some people just have bad fashion sense, or use their attire as a statement instead of trying to look good.

The nose ring mafia purposely dress bad to not be attractive to men. Even though none of em rate higher than a five on a good day.

Where as bad fashion sense would be Numi(Akuma Nimune) wearing either street meat clothes, or jorts and calling it futch. With her most normal fashion being pajamas.

PS: It's mainly kids and teen who make fun of, or belittle other's fashion.
Adults may look, but most ain't saying shit. Even if it's someone in a latex bodysuit at Walmart. Cause most adults don't give a crap unless they're Karens or steeped in toxic masculinity/femininity.

It shouldn't but is, everyone is too busy with their own life to give multiple chances to each stranger they come across. So first impressions are everything, and what ideals have we been brought up with? One should look good, dress good, smell good and talk good to be the best person.

We can fault it, but there hasn't been a better alternative to judge people at a glance. Can't expect everyone to become a mentalist, or sherlock holmes to decipher everything on the go.

So my advice is to discuss it with friends and behind doors, but in the real situations please look after your image.

Some people are lame, that's why. Wear what you want, be your authentic self, rock that shit. Fuck everyone else. Untie their shoelaces. Shove your finger up their nose when they bow down to tie them. Be ungovernable.

Short answer, I've experienced it. No matter how you dress, there will always be people out there judging you. And some are going to be bold enough to comment on it.

The long answer, I think the negative stuff comes from a place of wanting control over others. And when they don't have it, it pisses them off.

You dress comfortably? People are going to think you're a lazy slob. You put in a lot of time and effort to look good? Now you're high maintenance or trying to hide your flaws. You dress brightly and in fun outfits? You're an attention seeker. You dress in booty shorts and crop tops? Well, now you're showing too much skin and you should be ashamed.

No matter what you wear, there's gonna be someone out there who thinks it's wrong. And if that's the case, you might as well wear whatever the hell you want.

I would force everyone to wear crocks. With socks.

Fuck ya all, we roll like this from now on.
We got an anarchist over here.

I wanna look good naked. No flabs or belly, strong legs and muscular arms, that is were I invest, less shopping, more lifting.

clothes are the first impression everyone has about you, I dont care about clothes for the most part either, but it still what builds upon that first impression, if you look messy people will not have a good impression on you
if you dont care then why complain anyway? and if you care so much then try to dress up better.
unless you're trying to impress people for a job or something, i dont think it matters

Many just like comformity to one's own values, like being self-righteous is very popular behavior

How we represent ourselves to the world around says a lot about ourselves. It seems silly to expect not to get judged for it, we have to form judgements based on something. Every single action we take and every thing we do affects the world around us, there's no such thing as an action that is nobody elses business. Does that mean their judgements are justified or correct? In many cases, no. Dastards disdain is often more of a selling point than something to get bent out of shape over. But thinking that the way you present yourself and what you make other people see you as, is not a valid thing to dislike about someone seems foolish.

Fair, cause the more physically attractive you are, the more rando stuff you can get away with wearing.
