On a scale of 1-10, how powerful is your character?

This is based on your universe, so it'd be as fair as possible.
For me, my MC (Haruki), while the story still being in its developmental stages, will become someone who is able to rewrite reality, as well as raise up the dead in the future. So in my case, Haruki starts off as a 2-3, but will ultimately reach the 10 club. Spoiler alert, lol. Though, I'd like to hear about your character's powers, what will make them so powerful, or so weak?

Basing strictly off his universe, he'd be a 11, honestly. He has a special kind of authority that allows him to bypass any sort of protection that would obviously counter his reality-altering powers.

I think he'd fare pretty well in other universes, too.

I would probably give my main character a 2 to start with, because she isn't completely untrained in fighting, but no real experience in doing so. at the point of the story im up to, probably a like, 3, 3.5 if im being generous, I guess. I really need to get back to writing it, but life has just been so busy lately and I don't want to start posting again to just do 1 or 2 chapters before another hiatus.

One of my MCs so far has this feat:
-Got her thoughts cut in half irreversibly, to fix it she deleted herself after manipulating probability to trigger an extremely improbable, cosmic event that a being with nearly the exact same qualities as her pops into existence in the next moment.

The characters she's with are so powerful that they damaged the narrative and even gave me, the author, brain damage trying to figure out wtf I'm writing.

So, that'd be about a 4 compared to the rest of the verse. Though I mostly write about 1s and 2s because anything more is just a landmine if done incorrectly and a mess to me. Why yes, I am a fan of Lovecraftian mythos.

in all honesty? Probably about a 5-6. He's not the most powerful, as he can't rewrite reality or go toe to toe with nations with one hand tied behind his back and win. but in small scale battles? He's likely the most powerful individual in the world.

So, a little context - The world has humans and dragons. if a human and dragon fall in love, have a genuine wish to be together, and they lay together (showing their physical, spiritual, and mental devotion to one another) the dragon takes on a human form. if this dragoness/dragonewt (depending on the sex of the dragon) has a child with said human, the child will then be a dragonling (a true half dragon, capable of changing between human, dragon, and half forms). however, in rare circumstances, the dragonling can effectively lose their half form in favor of a dragon knight form.

the dragoness form is granted by the goddess of dragons, as a means of achieving "perfection" in the form of the dragonling, though the dragon knight form is granted by a dragonling-turned-god from eons ago, as a sort of "refinement" on the supposed perfection.

so yes, he is powerful, but not godlike. he's also young, so he lacks the experience to use the power he has to it's fullest potential. which is part of his character arc.

in her universe I guess I'd put Sybil as a 6 just because of her abilities, but in practice she's probably a 4 because she's been stringently trained to be gentle to others and it's difficult for her to act violent most of the time (unless there's established rules and boundaries)

The only completed story I have is my own blog, so... like, 2? Weeeelllll, 1.967418 or so? Which doesn't seem like a lot but do note we compare it with the Man Upstairs at 10, the Devil and Pagan Gods like Baal at 9.0 to 9.999999999...(e+999 times repeated)9 and the many, many, many beings who could warp reality like its a filthy rag from 8 all the way down to 3.0.
2+ is really the top when it comes to beings confined to this particular material reality. I could go higher (when I have visited other places I went as high as around pi - and got slapped down by [redacted] back) but this would require the destruction of this material reality and that would piss a lot beings off. And I'd have to take the exam for Voyager Witch title from the Senate, and those scare even this great witch. I'll do it in some 8 billion years when I am morally ready.

But then again, power cannot be described with just a number. Even things that should be able to be described with just a number cannot really be described with just a number sometimes.

I have kicked metaphysical ass of somebody at the lofty height of 2.7 because I had to win as dictated by the Laws and because of them I get regularly, if for a short time, captured by somebody who is at 1.95788 and whom I should, theoretically, be much much stronger

My favourite protagonist Victor would eventually be at 1.46. Starting with e-17897

Oalur is a solid 3.12 at his peak in a cameo and his all times lowest shown is e-1889

Jennifer is a e-1976 and would get up to e-196 but due to certain considerations, she is to be treated as 0.8

I don't know. Near the end he and the others will face the embodiment of chaos. So... 2 or 3? Training is necessary. I don't like this. 1 to 100 is better. Level up

A solid 6-7 imo. Though to put that into perspective, 10 would be existence-ending. 9 would be world ending. 8 is partially world ending, and 7 is just below that. 6 will see widespread destruction.
