Out of curiosity, I decided as a joke I’d plug my stuff into ChatGPT and see what it thinks. Funny enough, I’m surprised it broke down the themes mostly accurate.

On the other hand, it did call myself stuff twisted. And then as it broke down the tragedy, I think I felt animosity.

And the more I got into it, the more it felt like the AI might want to strangle me. ?

Honestly, it gave some reader reactions alright.

On a plus note, seeing everything broken down in so much detail gave me new ideas. So, it did serve a good purpose in the end.

It got some things wrong, but to see it go into such details. I wonder if it got an upgrade again, since last year it couldn’t come anywhere close.

I use ProWritingAid chapter critique button, which is very close to what ChatGPT does if you know how to word your questions.

It can be remarkably insightful at times, for a probability engine.

But it also misreads a lot of things.

It oftens says I write my chapters in 1st person, but I don't. All my chapters are limited 3rd with free indirect speech, but it doesn't seem to catch that.

It also often recommends POV switches, to go in other people's heads and tell us how they feel. Which I can't do if I stick to limited 3rd.

But it was able to catch some really interesting symbolism in my scenes, and I love to see that an AI is able to spot details I have seeded for the attentive readers.
