New here. I need your opinion on my new book. I'm open to advice and suggestions

so i've been meaning to post this for a while but i've been busy.

if it's not too much, i'd really appreciate your insights on my new book. it's a fantasy-comedy academy-based series.

to sum it up without spoiling much, the setting is a society where human dreams are manufactured by the "dreamweavers" and streamed by the "otherkin" for entertainment. and students of the academy are being trained to craft nightmares.

like i said, it's a fantasy-comedy so although plot and development are checked, most of it is humor. also the MC... isn't "OP" or anything like that. at least not at first. it takes a while for him to stop being pathetic, but his growth will be satisfying.

and there are romance undertones but it'll only be suggested in the earliest arcs cuz there's already a lot going on. besides, i haven't decided on canon ships yet lol.

Hi, I dont have an opinion. I am just here to tell you that you should now get depressed if no one gives you an opinion. That happens a lot everywhere. If you stuff is good, the readers will pick it up, also being active on the forums makes people check your stuff. Just dont take it too far. There is some guys that create a new thread avery 5 hours just to call atention. is annoying.

I think you meant "should NOT get depressed"?
People here don't give a lot of feedback, except in a few dedicated threads, or if you somehow stand out to them (usually if they see good AND bad - and feel they need to comment on the bad to hope it improves).

Yup, not get depressed.
I am glad you understand. But it happens everywhere, the cementery (wattpad) is even worse. RR (dont go there simba, that is a dark place), pretty much the same. Is the same everywhere. The site I had the most engagement is in nightscribe but that is only for horror (specially shorts).

calling wattpad a cemetery is actually gold bruh ? that place is a literal cricket fest. i still don't know how their algorithm works till this day. same with this site tbh.

thanks a lot for your encouraging words, man. you made my day. i lowkey didn't expect anyone to respond to this. i'm used to being ignored lol. but you went out of your way to be kind to me. i might sound sappy but interactions like these are pretty rare. for that, i hope both sides of your lifetime pillows are cold and comfy.

What life? I havent been alive since I was 17 (that is when i met my ex wife). LOL
Talking seriusly, is normal if you never make a hit. I have 8 books, in two languajes, never made a hit.
But I keep writing.
