So it's gonna be a parody of those cultivation chinese Manhwa whatever crap. You know, they meditate, each cell becomes a sun, they take pills and gain Qi or some such crap then the numbers keep going up.

You know the drill.
So the MC is gonna be a character from another book who's already gone through his own training arc, but he needs to get stronger so they send him to the cultivation genre. He's gonna meet a master who will test him, then say, "I will take you as a student. Your name shall be brick."
And the MC will go "Alright! I'm tough as a brick!"
Then the other students tell him that the master gives you a name based on how sharp a blade you resemble.

I need a bunch of student names based on blades or sharp objects. or well known dull ones. I suppose there can be some students who suck.

Jian is Chinese for sword and, as StrongArm said, Dao is also knife/sword (so Dao dao 道刀 could be a stupid name for "way of the sword", like anyone who knows any Chinese would sit there and say "bro, that's f'ed up"). Put them together into "Jiandao" and you've got scissors, but don't forget his friends "Shi tou" and "Bu" (rock and paper, respectively with the latter pronounced "boo").
