Need help on making a prideful, vulgar, shit-talking MC likable

I don't think there's much more you can do to the MC himself to make him likeable here. What he needs is a morality chain; someone whose presence in his life stops him from going too far, stops him from descending into outright villainy. He already has siblings, right? Are any of them particularly young and/or weak? Force the MC to take one along with him. Otherwise, there's a lot of orphans around what with fighting off the apocalypses, so you can have the MC rescue one from a combat zone. If you make a character whose function is to stir up the more gentle or patient facets of MC's existing personality, readers might suddenly find him more likeable.

You can make a tsundere prideful character like vegeta or a unique circumstance that makes/turns him/her into a arrogant character
