People wanting finished stories can buy books. Just by the nature of this site, the appeal is reading a developing story earlier - before the author has enough content for a book. Surely there can't be many readers here who only read finished stories.
The story you used as an example Is 200k words long, the majority of novels don't reach that far, that alone should be enough to deserve a few days of trending. I already read that book in an other websites and the quality Is good enough imho. The 1 chapter per hour cheat was actually a pretty bad idea, he burned a huge stockpile in a few days.
