well i used to write fantasy before when i first appeared on scribble hub two years ago or so. my ideas once did include stuff like this. but, like my stories was stolen twice before, so i am toning down on fantasy for now, and trying rom com cuz i never wrote any before.

I'm halfway through one myself - not for toning it down, just to see if I could.
Unless you count someone making an unauthorized audionovel of one of mine, I haven't yet had anything stolen (that I know of) so can't identify with that part.

i mean yea. i know my experience was kinda rare. i am just like testing the water rn cuz i really want to return to writing. so i may just return to fantasy after my current project.

I found that, no matter what I start out with, my writing tends to morph into either horror, fantasy or superheroes at some point. Managed to avoid that, almost (but found out, thanks to Chinese and Korean novels and television that having a lot of money really IS a super power, as Batman claimed in Snyder's Justice League, so my romance novel was kind of heading that way when I stalled it; also have not figured out the right place TO post it - not enough "smut" for here, but too much suggestive stuff for RR, and skirts too many rules on most other sites I've looked at)
