Hello friends.
I recently started my first story here. I'm hoping that the first chapters should be enjoyable to read, but readers aren't necessarily inclined to write feedback on what they read (I understand them, I was the same before), and it's impossible for me to know if the reading experience is positive for my readers (it might as well be a pain in the ass, it would be the same), and I'd like (very much) to get some feedback on my first chapters.
Well, to make it simple, here's the summary of my novel, Apocalypse War: Survive. Die & Restart :
One day, all humans on Earth were summoned to another world to pay for their sins by being used as front-line soldiers against the massive invasion of nightmarish existences pouring in from the nightmare dimensions.
But despite the powerful blessings offered by Wizards and Gods to turn them into supermen and half-wizards, in this impossible war, they were ultimately nothing but cannon fodder.
The protagonist, a veteran who survived the fall of the last of the kingdoms, finally knows the peace he longs for when death takes hold of him. But bad luck for him, the promise of a peaceful and eternal rest is denied him. His return to life is a painful awakening when he realizes that he has gone back 14 years, to the beginning of the war, and that it is not an illusion.
Already exhausted and traumatized by a first life that he would not want to relive, being confronted again with the prospect of an existence doomed to see all those around him die in the most atrocious circumstances is not exactly something he is willing to accept. But at that time, he did not yet know that he would come back to life again and again.
So much for the plot on which my novel is built. Yeah, it's an action-adventure fantasy novel, with wizards, demons and more. tThe world is at a technological level at the end of the medieval age (black powder weapons exist and the remedies of official medicine are often worse than the evils), in a grimdark atmosphere. The protagonist is going to have to shit bricks to save the world.
Please, feel free to give me feedback, it can only be beneficial to you, because after all, the day you will be summoned too, your soul will be subject to my will *noise of whip * (Mouahahahahaha)
