My writers block has motivated me to edit like crazy

To explain, I've been putting off editing my main series for nearly six months. during which I have been working on a new story. Though now I have pretty bad writer's block for this series. I have spent the past month doing things other than writing because I have no drive to work on it. Because of this, I took a look at my main series and I wanted to edit it. I ended up reworking thirty pages today and ended up adding another twelve pages with just descriptions. The thing that I need to fix the most in this draft. So I'll say what every writer has told me to do when I have writer's block because it actually works. Read and work on your old stuff to pass the time. You'll get stuff done and give you time to regain the motivation to work on your other stories.

Good idea. Usually when I get writers block, I force myself to write a few thousand words and once I’ve recovered, I read the chapter and delete everything and re-write it! Oh and if you have plans, just follow that. I kinda just plan while I write though hahaha
