Just preface this review, this also serves a recommendation for readers on this forum.
Well now hopefully the mods won't lock this thread, I would like to start off by applauding @CupcakeNinja for his work and improvement in skill with the alternative route compared to the original
Warning spoilers ahead.
This story follows Damien 'Day' Claybrook, a reincarnated fellow who happened to be born in a wealthy, somewhat abnormal family.
Eventually he comes to realize that he has been reincarnated into an erotic otome game called 'Love Orgy', in which he comes to realize that his sister, Delilah 'Dolly' Claybrook, is the villainess of the series.
So in turn he seeks to subvert the many terrible endings his sister could potentially suffer. Which leads Dolly becoming intensely attached to him, like 'handcuffing him to herself with manacles capable of holding back a dragon' attached.
He then proceeds to live a slightly more slice-of-life-esque adventure interacting with nobles and pompous brats, a search for a decent bride, and going to school and banging a ghost.
Which has a finishing climax, metaphorically this time, with him fighting said ghost back to sanity, and leaving after finding how morally bankrupt his mother is and how much his father is a floor mat for his mother.
Speaking of the bitch Damien's mother Muriel Claybrook is the exact dragon in question those handcuffs I mentioned were made for, and Muriel simply put is a helicopter mom who loves her children along with being a self-centered tyrant who doesn't give a damn about the consequences.
She does several things throughout the story such as:
Damien's father's Elias serves as a way to give exposition for Damien's family's backstory and serves as probably the only moral compass Damien can look up to. Unfortunately he tends to not fulfill that role more often than not because he is married to Muriel.
Ironically we don't see much of Dolly and her personality seems to really revolve around her brother, so much so she is willing to fight literal gods if they get in the way of her love.
As for the main man himself Damien? He is a carefree person who is selfish as he is charming, despite this however he does show some selfless streaks and manages to be an endearing character.
And I must say the alternative route this story takes from the original is much more smooth and easier to digest for a normal reader, it also has more of a serious tone compared to the original, and for better and worse it lacks 'filler'.
Several characters that were long standing supporting cast in the original such as Baz, and Vera have very little time compared to the original story and the way this version progresses it leaves little room for much of the supporting cast to be fleshed out.
However I highly recommend this story and would recommend reading the first twenty-five chapters here on scribble hub and if you enjoy that then try checking out the $4.00 full version on Google Play Books.

She does several things throughout the story such as:
- Threaten the king and murder twelve senior knights because Damien got hurt watching the Princess.
- Blame a little girl for being a bastard and threatening to kill her if she ever became close with her half brother Damien.
- Encourage her daughter's sociopathic tendencies.
- Force a ghost to undergo several thousand tragic deaths in her mental space creating an artificial eldritch being that eats at life force as we know it, all because the ghost called her, "Mother-in-Law,".
- Bring her supposed best friend and said friend's daughter as hostages to watch as the ghost woman unleash havoc on the entire kingdom.
- And who forget attempt to groom her son into a suitable marriage partner for her and her daughter.
