so I made a novel cover for my recent work. What do you guys think? I did it myself with some photo manipulation.

Everything here just represents certain things within the novel. it's a little pixelated because of the formatted size. I made it my pc wallpaper out of the original. This has a lot of things missing like the entire landscape and the other planets, the sharpness is also not great. but hey wonder what you guys think. Photoshop is one hell of a tool.

I think it’s cool! Is the cat prominent in the story? I love those little fluff balls

very good. remove the blood on the right side of the cat and it'll improve 5x

looks good. think having a different font and coloring for the title/author might make it a bit better, but that's just personal taste. Definitely catches the eye though.

Yep. Our cat is pretty much one of the focal points. A robotic cat. The one that has witnessed everything. I pretty much made tits last moment within the series.

Oh that's was intentional. I thought some light reflections would look cool. from the planets so I made some layers and colours that just had a very little impact on it.

it looks nice. my thinking was that the light is coming for left and top so bottom right should be dark. i think it'd give it more depth but I'm not sure. im not an artist

If there are several light sources, then the shadows and light will overlap, resulting in multiple shadow shades/silhouettes in different intensities

That aside, I have a problem with the shining light on the cat's butt. If you make shiny cat, you should also make corresponding cat shadows. Except cat is using telekinesis to hover over the ground.
