Writing More interesting start for an isekai.

How about this: All the attempts to force the Hero to transmigrate have built up a body count... the police get involved and a sense of honor or nobility leads the MC to accept his fate and go to his execution for multiple murders knowing he did what he had to. But the execution does not quite stick... (I have a pseudo isekai that uses something like this - the MC flat out murdered the three guys who raped his sister and almost beat her to death, along with their getaway driver/procurer; one of his victims was a senator's kid so he goes down, hard... and wakes up in a Western...)

remove the threat from the equation. he would be given a choice. one thats so temping he cannot refuse even against his better judgment
