Recommendations Monster reincarnates as a human but works to eventually evolve into previous appearance

I'm looking for the reverse of the cliche of a human reincarnating as a nonhumanoid entity and working to acquire a human-like body and reintegrating into human society.

I want a monster (or other, like a tree. Actually, I've seen like 3 stories with mc's reincarnating as a tree but never a reverse. I might just write it when I have the time though my track record says it will never be. So bonus points for tree) reincarnating as a human and staying a monster (other) and wanting to evolve or modify themselves into their previous appearance and reintegrating into previous lifestyle.

Such stories do exist - like Everybody loves large chests. I just want to know more of them.

I'm a spider so what is kinda like that. The MC becomes less spider-like as time goes on.
