I have seen a bunch of stories in the nu feed along the lines of "everybody thought I was trash so I got kicked out of [place] ~ it's too late to call me back ~" or something or other - and it is so annoying! They are like cockroaches in how numerous these titles are.
God, this is just so very irritating. I would understand if it was aimed at middle aged japanese work slaves (no I still wouldn't), but the target audience is teenagers. Do teens have issues with abandonment issues nowadays for so many of this kind to crop up? Anyways.
I want to read a story like "I tried something and realised that it wasn't for me ~ I am now doing another thing which I enjoy more and that's about it for this story ~"
Wherein the story is not about people being mean out of nowhere to a main character and the story is either implicitly or explicitly about getting roundabout revenge on those people by not being there (sigh this is cringe now that I wrote it) but about a main character who learns to accept their flaws and grows as a person by learning to let go and adapt.
No harem or preferably any whiff of romance at all (because the market is oversaturated with that and I'm sick of it)
No pampering of mc - by which the character is so *special* and *good* and it *has* to be told (through artificial lowering of standards for other characters or other character dialogues and monologues)
