If you look at it, you can see that harem is shoehorned here, and the main focus isn't romance or love. Just look at the tags, synopsis, etc.

Moreover, not so long ago a friend of mine linked me a couple of harem novels from RR that did well and had good rating. Obviously they were nowhere near the top of the top, but I think you can always try to get some exposure, no?

If it has to be a harem to be interesting, it's probably not interesting.
I sometimes prefer a story with no romance, because romance stalls the more interesting plot.

EDIT: Unless his harem all hates him and the plot is convincing them to get along, that could be interesting.
