Recommendations looking for xianxia with "western" names characters

Hi. As per title I'm looking for a xianxia series but not the usual "face slapping", "courting death", "arrogant idiots with powers" or similar. Not eastern names it's confusing to me (like Lin Feng killed Li Feng and his sworn brother Lin Fang, Ling Fan swears vengeance, and sage Ling Feng dies). Also no convenient reincarnation, isekai, regression, otherworldly boons.

Already read and re-read reverend insanity, indeed a jem of webnovels. Lord of mysteries on my list, I heard it's pretty intensive so gotta leave it for my vacation... thanks for recommendations, always a joy to see these titles.

I don't think that exists because it would be a sacrilegio. Imagine saying "Mike from the Johnson dynasty was strolling through the imperial garden with his ceremonial robes on the lunar dragon's anniversary" that would be treated as localization trash. It would be like asking for a Chinese story where the protagonist is black or there are black people XD

Eh a lot of what you would be asking for would just be translations where the author changed the character's name. I get the want though. Sometimes xianxia gets annoying trying to read when you can't tell the names apart and spend so much time trying to figure out who is who. Gets worse when they have a large clan involved.

Another way to go about finding what you want is to find a Xianxia story disguised as a magic/wizard story. For that you have the main two Age of Adepts and Warlock of the Magnus world. I would really recommend both. The way that Age of Adepts ends is somewhat disappointing. . . Read them both and you can join the online arguments of who copied who and which is better. (Might be done with now that was a long time ago)

On scribble the story that meets your wants the most is Regressor Sect Master. I would highly recommended it. Sadly though you are a couple of months late. Author just put the first book on Amazon so now most of the first book is gone. Second one is still there but yea it sucks. Good for the author though. Then again its a Regressor story. So do what you will.

My wife subscribes to a video channel that does just that. It's fricking HILARIOUS. Especially since, no matter how large or small the cast is, they usually leave ONE name in phonetic Chinese and make the rest as blandly European/American English as possible.
So you have Brad and Susan Jones, Carl and Linda Walker, Li Feng, and Dave, Sarah and little Debbie Smith as your characters, at least one doing some kind of Chinese magic or bizarre Martial Arts tomfoolery at some point (and usually one of the men screwing himself over somehow, and one of the women being PURE evil, and getting killed in the end after skating through everything else untouched). About a third of them use historical costuming but whatever sets they had handy, too, making it even more bizarre.

Oh goodness, the clan arcs...
Such a nostalgic title was Warlock of Magus World. The other one seems familiar but not sure whether I read it or not. Thanks for recommendations!
