I've been building a world for a couple years now, and over the past 7-8 months, I've been putting it out into the world. I've got a series bible that I wrote out in Markdown, that I treat more like a living document that I iterate on while the story is in development. If I had to give a "pitch" or whatever, I'd say this: The Emergence Chronicles follows a found family of supernatural misfits, who need to heal themselves of their trauma well enough to take on a mad wannabe God who plans to commit omnicide via a true Apotheosis. It also follows one of the oldest members of that Demiurge's order, who loses a psychological battle with a Fallen Angel who did not Fall, eventually discovering the truth, or the foundational lie, rather, behind his order, their mission, and his faith. Everything is written to be thematically consistent, and each idea builds off of each other in what I feel like is an organic way. Writing the prose comes pretty instinctively at this point, anyway.
I might've did an oopsie and locked Book 1 under Kindle Unlimited until late March, but Book 2 is right here on Scribble Hub, and I'll be putting Book 1 back when I won't get Amazon's lawyers jumping up my ass XD
Order for The Emergence Chronicles goes as follows: Emergence, Convergence, Revelations. I'm doing my best to write them all in a way that allows anyone to pick up one of the books and enjoy it as a standalone, but I also want to ensure the series ties together well, and I'm trying to ensure each book expands on the arcs and themes of one before it. Please, tell me what you think!
