So, the story began with the reincarnation of soul by a goddess who broke the rules to reincarnated this soul as it was not within her domain. The mc is not born to the family if I remember right, but comes to them via a comet and the family of would be villians take him in. The goddess is overall rather lazy and tries to push the mc to be seen as a villian, but the mc not even meaning to disrupts her efforts. I do remember that he is part of a rather powerful noble family that has a background that makes other weary and they live in a cold enviorment from what I remember. Super vague I know but this is all I can really remember from where I left off. If I am remembering right he saves a servants life by sending her away and there is a brief misunderstanding of why he sent her away as she would have been killed otherwise. The story cover was rather dark as it seemed to take place in winter from what I remember.
