I'm interested to base my new stuff on lewd religions, especially when you become more 'holy' the lewder you are.

Any examples you folks want to add? For research purposes. Tho I mainly do F/F with a lot of futanari, I can just adjust these ideas to suit my tastes.

@OP there's a novel where the MC basically created the dao of ero and thus runs his own horni religion as an Abbot. I cant remember what it's called right now but if i do i'll update this post.

Like all things eldar, it's all a ancient clusterfuck.
Also, an interesting side note: Eldar culture, no matter which subculture, all explicitly recognize Slaanesh as inherently female.

the Eldar refer to Slaanesh as "She Who Thirsts" which is the direct translation of the Aeldari name "Sai'lanthresh" which is the only name they use to refer to Slaanesh and which is specifically gendered.

I know that. However, someone refers to Slaanesh as a 'hungry bitch' or bitch something. Unfortunately, I only remember the bitch part. The thing is, I don't remember if dark ones or eldar's harlequins use the term. Maybe I'm wrong, and it's not eldars, but someone from WH fantasy uses this term, thus my previous question to you.

Shrine maidens aren't prostitutes anymore. However, in the past there were miko which were like oracles and shrine attendants. Miko transitioned into aruki miko in the early 1200s to the mid 1300s due to economic problems and prostitution became the job for many aruki miko. Though sexual acts were never allowed at the shrines for obvious reasons. The modern Shinto shrine maidens are much different.
