The kingdom was neutral,it was the birth place of the protagonist,and it was third person perspective.

It was either relatively slow (to allow protagonist to escape, running/sailing/riding/driving/flying) OR protag wasn't there at the time. How big was kingdom (France? Grand Fenwick?)
