Hi! I'm just a highly intelligent albatross girl who likes to write and post her stories. I dabbled a bit in fanfiction when I was younger, and it still interests me (though my fandoms have changed), but right now I'm writing original fiction. I was inspired by magical girl anime, particularly Nurse Angel Ririka SOS (an obscure but good show from the 90s), and so I'm writing a story about a magical girl who fights alone. I've written five chapters so far, and I've posted three of them here in the last two days. I post on other sites too, such as Royal Road. I haven't written in a while due to self doubt, but I've resolved to continue my story anyway.
But I digress - what I really wanted to say is that this site has been a good place so far. I haven't read much, but in the two days that my story has been up, I've already gotten a whole bunch of views, a high rating, and even a comment! Yay!

Fanfics usually do well here. Compared to original stories I think they usually get more reactions

It's based off well known characters already, so people probably tend to comment more
