I just got my novel.my first ever one.so while thinking of some good plot,effects (like some type sounds) and the like.i just got an idea.how about we add a new feature adding music in that part of novel.something like drama,add some dramatic song and it will be much more good to read.this idea of mine is from a manhwa.the title is "the dice" it's pretty good actually.thats all


Also this is just a suggestion so if you ever had no time.just ignore it

You can already put links in chapters, and there are already many music-streaming services out there on the online, so this basically already exists.

But yes many people will choose not to click your music links. You will have to live with that lmao

I'll be real with you, there's nothing more annoying than a sudden, unannounced sound effect coming in while you're reading. Doesn't work in manhwa, defo wouldn't work with reading.

Even if you out a warning beforehand, it's just gonna deter me from reading the new update in the first place.

In fact, like stated above, people already put on music when they read. Having a FNAF jumpscare isn't what people consider an ideal reading experience.

I've never been able to read with headphones playing music in my ears. It's distracting and I find myself having to re-read the same thing over to understand what it even said. I don't see how people do it. I always end up focusing more on the music.

It has been a little bit crude the way I seen music for reading as utilized in other sites. Although I am curious how this feature would turn out if it was introduced. I didn't care much for music when reading webtoon or novels but I came across a webtoon that used music really well that it turned the whole reading experience into something almost cinematic for me. The music was almost inseparable and a part of the webtoon itself. Maybe because the medium was visual so that's why it worked?
But again, I'm curious to see how it would look

If you can't write onomatopoeia or you're unable to describe the sound they should be imagining, that's just your own inadequacy as an author. Show your skills using your own composition. Don't use gimmicks unrelated to writing. If you are unable to make readers imagine the scene, then learn and practice how to do it. This is a writing site, not a myspace blog.

Remember myspace? No? It used to be big, but everyone put so much bloat on their blogs it brought browsing experience to a painful crawl.
