Gwen's grandpa doesn't care about her über Talent and even kinda forces her to give her little untalented brother a pendant that literally stops her own magic devouring her.
True, didn't remember that

I don't know but most generic isekai I've seen always touch the whole racism thing, demihumans aren't human yadayadayada...
I think some chinese cultivation female power fantasy do have these topics tho. Just forgot which ones exactly
And they suddenly are thrown out the window when the ML comes in

(female) MC gets isekaied to a sexist world.

A lot of isekai novels seem to go to places where the society is completely equal.

No intra species sexism and of course there are female rules, levels or magic eradicate all difference between the sexes.

Im not looking for anything ridiculous like "all woman are slaves hur dur." But the mc dealing with a culture, maybe comparable to nineteenth century europe.

(A woman could own a business but it is unusual and of course rape is outlawed but good luck getting the mayor's son convicted)

Basically mc (realistically) dealing with an established patriarchy.
Probably off topic, but I kinda want to see this more explored on whenever a story transmigrates a female lead into the past. Its like they fully adapt to their surroundings and the people at that time without much conflicts. The times it does show a person from modern day with modern day views clashing with a person with traditional views from that time - some stuff is more lightly glossed over for a more light-hearted or more comedic effect, or if it does create drama, it doesn't exactly go real deep about it -just they don't like you kind of thing but end it at that. This sorta makes it feel like story isn't really realistic or "believable" sometimes. A lot of modern views we have may clash with old, traditional views on society and the world. More open-minded now compared to conservative and restrictive in past. And we mix a lot of things with the wide cultural influence exchange we have now.
