Is there a way to see a bigger version of the cover art?

Some of the art looks like the authors spend some considerable effort on.

Unfortunately it seems wasted on me and my not-so-great eyes. Is there a way to see a bigger than a thumbnail size?

You can click on the thumbnail, but that will cause the quality to worsen, so you are screwed

Just ask them for the cover. It's the best way, like Alice said. Some authors dont use the recommended size so the images can be shit

You can ask the author to place the cover on a chapter.

Yeah, or even include it in their glossary. Basically it's either external linking it or placing it somewhere else.

doesn't just double-clicking it and opening it in a new window/tab not work? I haven't done it that much, so idk tho

oh, and what about making your screen big? There must be a code for that, right? For example, I have this code (ctrl+shift+ plus sign) which allows my screen to get bigger for a Chromebook on my Chromebook. So... whatever thing you're using SH on, couldn't you just make your screen bigger?

Thank you for the advice.

SH seems to use a compression algorithm, so opening in a new tab doesn't yield to much better results.

I'll try messaging authors.

Ai-chan asked Tony about this about a year back, but Tony only said something along the line of "Sorry, Ai-chan." So yeah, if Tony is going to implement larger images, it would've happened by now. Ai-chan wouldn't say it wouldn't happen, but if it does happen, it would be because Tony changed his mind.

Probably has something to do with server space. If the cover uses full-length image size, the server would be filled up quickly as there would be thousands of HQ images. Some people don't have restrain and want to go full bombastic like how some amateur indie game programmers want to go full HD 3D games these days without considering performance or aesthetics. But if authors put it on their chapters, there would be no space used as you can't upload images in the chapters, you can only hotlink it.

I guess we could ask the dev to put in an option for authors to set an onclick to an external hosting site for larger images to keep the servers free of large image files.
Text is sooo much smaller.
