Is my story glitching???

Hi! I just wanted to know if it's possible for the reader count to drop. I'm new to the platform and I kind of assumed if anyone stopped reading, it would show as dropped in the user stats section. I had 30 readers a little over a week (?) ago. That reduced to 28 but the user stats show 0 dropped. Ntm it hasn't increased ever since.

Also, just to note, the time the reader count dropped, the total views on my story page dropped as well which should be impossible because you can't really take back views and also why I'm kind of suspicious about the reader count. (Help I really think its stuck!!!)

Yes, it's possible. I think it happens when a reader removes story from a reading list. As for viewcount, perhaps a bot got banned? I'm not sure.

A bot can't get banned if they were not one to begin with.

Dropped statistic only keeps track of readers that put the story in a 'dropped' list. So readers count stays the same unless they remove the story from all of their lists, thats when the reader count lowers but doesn't add drops.
not sure about the viewer issue though.

The reader count is not about how many readers you have as most people would understand it logically, but about how many people have put your story onto their reading lists.

The dropped thing is not about how many have removed your story from their reading lists, but how many of them tagged your story as dropped. (As above, posted a bit too late)

No idea about views, although there can be inconsistencies between your story page, author page, and what's listed when searching for stories since they are not updated all at once.
