Is my Second Story good?

I just began writing my second story, and it's a Slice of Life rather than the adventure of my first. It also has a ton of focus on introducing different characters and building up the world around the main character than throwing them into an adventure. I'm 11 chapters in so far, and was wondering what you all think about it so far? Is there anything I could do better, or to make it more attractive as a slice-of-life story? Thanks!

I've read the first two chapters awhile back. Can't say I have anything - the writing is pretty solid. Not a fan of the continuously changing POVs, though.

That's fair, but the pov stays with one character for the entirety of the story though, and he just meets the new characters, with the very rare perspective shift.

But thanks for taking a look, and I'm glad you think it's solid!

I actually am planning on doing perspective shifts as well it is nice to see another writer do that.

I reread them again since I've only skimmed through to jog my memory. Yeah, you're right there are no pov switches. It's the transitions I remembered. You got lazy with the court mage's exposition though. But I do appreciate the mention of the navy seal pasta.
