Is it me or the Recent Readers got broken with the updates?

I'm curious how recent readers of mine had two or three active readers, or how the Recent Readers works... when in actuality, there might be more than how the recent readers depicted... is it because most readers activated themselves anonymously?

I'm not sure, but my story seems to have been stuck at 6.9k views for the past several days. I mean, it's a lovely number, but it can get exhausting if you do it for too long, especially with the period.
