Hello everyone,

I recently joined Scribblehub and posted a couple of stories of mine here. The response I got was overwhelming, and I can't thank the audience enough. But, now I want to scale up the number of views and readers. Can anyone help me with some suggestions?

My stories:

1. The Lost Devil (Original)
2. Harry Potter and The Dark Lord (fan-fic)

Welcome to ScribbleHub. :)

Suggestions others talk about:
- Post your works on other platforms to get more attention for your stories.
- Ask for feedback on your story
- Always proofread and double check for any grammar errors and stuff. We always miss some even after rereading it haha.
Good luck.

As a halfass, my advice is useless cuz I don't post my trainwrecks here and constantly on hiatus on my own schedule.

Just have fun I guess.

Keep being positive, ask for help if you really think you're stuck in some problem that you can't handle by yourself. If you believe you can make it better, go for it. Learn to know what is enough, should be enough. There's nothing wrong with dreaming of what might happen next because that helps too.

Prepare and take hints from mistakes if you made any.

And finally, the most important thing since you're a writer, enjoy and have fun in the world of your own making.

Also as an advice: please post a link to your story in your SHF profile about or signature part so that way SHF who are curious about your stories can find it quicker. :)

Welcome to Scribblehub. You can try being active in the forums, and as @SeaHiatus said, the sig matters. Also, what I would say is that frequent updates would help. Posting an update once every two or so days will drastically increase your time on the front page, so you could pull some readers in that way. Instead of dumping all your chapters in one day, try spacing them out a bit.

Also, I don't know if I am in a position to give unsolicited advice, but I checked the Lost Devil, and I think you could work with a more streamlined synopsis. Try looking up synopses on places like MAL and get ideas from there instead of having dialogues there, for one. Using "This is....." type sentences also make the synopsis feel a bit too "detached" for my liking.
