What combination of up to four genres would to you create the least appealing story ?

Smut/Mature/Adult, School Life, GB/GL/BL (any of the three), Slice of Life.

These tags together tell me your story is probably boring, slow, full of bad drama, and likely lacks any form of cohesive, productive, interesting, or brain tickling plot. It's probably a self-insert or a wish fulfillment story of some nature. Or, alternatively, it's written to play out some kind of fantasy/fetish.

A harsh take but it's been my general experience reading such stories and I no longer touch them if I see those tags in any combination.

However, even more than those four; any story with the Fanfiction tag is instantly passed over. I don't even look at it. Not to say there aren't great FFs out there and not saying they're all trash, but I don't care about your take on Naruto or whatever. Give me something Original that you made yourself and I'll read that.

The novel title would be "I'm in love with the Sect Master but I'm just a lowly Foundation Establishment Realm Cultivator while She is a True Celestial Immortal God Realm Cultivator."

The story focuses on the young boy who confessed to the Sect Master but she only treats him as a little bro then his female classmate is a Golden Core Realm Cultivator that is in-love with the MC but she cant confess because she would directly compete with the Sect Master (who is her eldest sister) and there is also a young master who is in the Mortal Enlightenment Realm that is in-love with the said female classmate but he wont fight the MC bc they are childhood friends.

Then drama starts when the love triangle turns into NTR and the BGM plays the song "Love Hurts" or "What is Love? Baby Don't Hurt Me."
